Building a Community Advocacy Network

The Logan Heights & Historic Barrio District are resilient communities! Historically, our neighborhoods have organized to advocate for equity and improving the lives of our working-class families. As community members that live and work in this region, we hope to build our coalition of small businesses, neighbors, and community leaders to advocate for the needs of our community.

Community Advocacy

The ‘Clean & Safe Barrio’ program is the first community-driven step to address neighborhood beautification. Through the support of Logan Heights CDC, we plan to clean the neighborhood twice a month in locations that community members have identified as needing community attention. Join us and volunteer.

Broken streetlights? Cracked or raised sidewalks? Dangerous pedestrian crossways? Let us know and report it to the Get It Done application. We want to make sure our communities continue to be invested in and supported to promote a safe and healthy neighborhood for individuals and families.
